Content Owners Force Hulu To Kneecap Boxee
If Boxee didn’t recently add Joost, the loss of Hulu would spelled the end of Boxee’s popularity. With Joost, plus if it adds full support for all channels on ustream, justinTV, and stickam, it could still spell a viable end to having cable TV.
I have to wonder if the reason content providers at Hulu put pressure to block Boxee is related to the (eventual) impact on mainstream media that an internet “box” will have.
Hulu needs to be on Boxee. Let’s hope this can be worked out!
